Buzz About Lab Innovations 2015

November 06, 2015 / by Andy Mooney

The weather outside may have left a bit to be desired but inside the Pavilion at the NEC in Birmingham there was a real buzz about Lab Innovations 2015. Broughton Software were delighted to be part of the UK’s largest Laboratory show that took place on 4th and 5th November and, judging by the number of visitors to our stand, LabHQ LIMS is generating a buzz of its own in the world of Laboratory Information Management Systems. A big shout out to everyone who we met during the show.

The Broughton Software team met a mix of people during the two days but we heard a number of recurring themes:

  1. How do we meet the changing regulatory requirements with respect to data integrity in our Quality Control lab?

  2. My current Quality Control data management systems are holding me back as my business grows.

  3. I need to generate efficiencies so I can manage my sample test workload more effectively.

  4. Why is my current LIMS system so complicated to use?

We were delighted to discuss these and other challenges and demonstrate how LabHQ could offer potential solutions. From the feedback on the stand it seems that LabHQ LIMS is well placed to do just that.

So, overall, what did the team at Broughton Software think of Lab Innovations 2015? Well, suffice it say we are already booked up for 2016 – we look forward to seeing you all again next year when we will have further exciting developments on show.

As a final thank you, anyone reading this blog from our web-site can download our NEW ‘ALCOA’ pocket guide. ‘ALCOA’ is the acronym used by the regulatory bodies to guide inspected companies on how to comply with Data Integrity requirements and our guide gives handy tips on how to meet them. If you wish to discuss this or any other topic directly we’d be delighted to have a chat.
